Well, here we go again.
Sourcecon is a magnificant gathering of like minded professionals all dedicated to the dark art of sourcing. Many of the alumni from 2007 are back again for this year's conference with a number of new faces as well....it is truely awe inspiring to hear some of the discussions that have ocurred just over the last few hours. I have hear discussions on the best job board hacks (EJ) to the impact of symantic search (DC) to how to measure a Sourcing/Recruitment function period (GC). We've had talks about the explosion of recruitment centric social media and it's impact on our business as recruiters and sourcers and what does it mean to be a sourcer anyways? I have my own thoughts on that but basically, do you like to hunt????
This is a great conference, if you are a sourcer, and you're not here, well you should be. So many interesting people, all trying to put their heads together and work cooperatively to enhance our craft....once again, OMG, it's great. And all this before we've even gotten to the main speakers...check out tomorrow night for a synopsis of the day's events....good night everyone from Atlanta.
